Teachers to be armed with guns
In 1867 John Stuart Mills said, “Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” And in 2018 we have a great example. A school district in northern Georgia, USA voted unanimously to arm teachers with guns.
As if to demonstrate responsibility, they conceded that the guns will be holstered and not popped into a bag or briefcase and that employees will be approved by the Board of Education and the County Sheriff before being allowed to carry a gun on school campuses. Approved teachers will be trained on judgment, pistol and long gun shooting.
Bang. Bang.

I like to try and understand all sides of an argument even if it triggers me (pardon the pun) or I disagree with it. I’m really struggling with this one.
