Making space

Not everyday is going to be filled with meaning and purpose. I read or listen to so many teachers telling us how we can be just that bit more better, that bit more organised, that bit more successful and it always seems to contain things to do that by the very nature of doing, take more time, and set this so called success in the future, to be attained when the boxes are ticked.

Over the years, I found a different form of success. The ability to sit with discomfort, to witness what is in me and surrounding me, and to be completely OK with it before acting. Not acting to try and get rid of the discomfort. Accepting what is, because it is just another event in the journey from birth to death. From this place I can appreciate being alive in all its manifestations, whilst allowing space for natural healing.
