The View from Mother Nature
If all the bees were extinct, life would suffer badly. If all the trees disappeared overnight, life would suffer badly. If every living thing in the sea went away, life would suffer badly. If every living thing that flies were removed, life would suffer badly. If every 4 legged creature vanished, life would suffer badly. If all of these living things were removed, there would be no life.
Yet, if humans were no longer on earth and all other life continued, the planet would continue without us.
Just a bit of perspective.
As we put up our monuments and statues, do the other living creatures care for just one second?
As we draw lines and call them country borders, is Mother Nature making the distinction?
As we write human history, are the trees bothered?
Maria’s Mindfulness Moment
Once upon a time, I wanted to be important. As I get older, I prefer to be insignificant. I am just a moving part of an ecosystem called Earth. And I try to keep myself sustained in such a way that I can play my part with love and joy.
The Wednesday Whisper
Have you seen yourself in relation to all living things? Is that a perspective you would enjoy?
